Abstract
Environmental pollution is an important issue in the process of economic growth. This paper is to test the availability of the environmental Kuznets curve in China using reduced form model based on provincial panel data. By analyzing the relationship between GDP per capita and the emissions of five kinds of industrial pollutants, we conclude that the relationship varies on the types of pollutants and regions.
