Abstract
A novel junction box for nondestructive assay instruments that is easier to build, maintain, and repair has been designed. Most high-voltage components are sealed from the atmosphere using potting material, therefore eliminating the maintenance requirement of replacing desiccators. The mechanical design cuts the cost of machining and makes it easy to remove and replace the /sup 3/He tubes.<>
