Abstract :
A six-pole folded 1030 MHz notch filter is introduced using high dielectric partially metallized evanescent mode resonators, intended for high power application. The proposed structure employs low-profile dielectric puck resonators operated below the cutoff frequency for the puck cross-section. The overall size of the proposed filter is relatively small compared to the cavity type or half-wave length waveguide resonators and indeed is smaller than the popular capacitively coupled short circuited coaxial resonator design. Performance is at least comparable.
