Abstract :
In relation to the method of controlling multiple RFID reader where multiple RFID readers recognize the RFID tag to reduce collisions and interferences of frequency between RFID readers, the multiple RFID reader control method proposed in this study is composed of Step 1 which configures a fixed number of RFID readers as multiple number of groups, Step 2 which selects an RFID reader among all readers in all groups as master reader and other readers as slaves, Step 3 in which master reader sends frequency hopping signal to master reader and slave readers, and Step 4 which performs frequency hopping with identical frequency for each group and with different frequencies among groups. Step 5 in which master and slave readers transmit tag signal to each RFID tag to recognize the tags follows after Step 4, and these steps are repeated to recognize all RFID tags.
