Abstract :
The design of multi-modular shunt active power filter is presented. Multi-modular topology, N+1 redundancy, current sharing scheme, modeling and stability analysis are studied. In addition, a competition rule to determine the master module is developed. Finally, experiments based on two active power filter modules in parallel connection are given to verify the suggested control strategy.
