Abstract :
Under the influence of the growth in ship scale, the container ports are in a highly competitive market environment. It should view berth allocation problems in a win-win perspective for container terminal operators and shipping companies. This paper puts forward that container ships with different TEUs capacity should be given different priorities in the process of berth allocation, and the larger the capacity is, the higher the priority is. Based on the above views, a dynamic berth allocation model concerning the service priority is established and the improved generalized genetic algorithms is adopted to solve the problems. Test results show that the model and the algorithm are correct and effective.
