Abstract
Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) is the infrastructure of Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), which is used to actualize Enterprise Application Integration (EAI). Being proposed by Sun Microsystems, the Java Business Integration (JBI) is a new specification which aims at providing business integration solutions for enterprise users by defining standard integration architecture. In the first part of this paper, we briefly introduced some basic concepts in SOA and JBI specification. Following that we give an architecture design of a JBI-based ESB implementation named SIA-ESB. The differences between the architecture of Sunpsilas Open-ESB and SIA-ESB is presented at the last part of this paper.
