Abstract :
In a conventional centralized network such as GSM, the base station controller solely performs the radio resource management, limiting the system capacity. However, a cellular network presented in this paper is based on distributed architecture which provides an efficient coverage to high density traffic areas since the base stations are equipped with supplementary features to partly perform the radio resource management. In this paper only the signaling performance of this distributed cellular network is investigated
