Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a reliable multicast method for wireless LAN environments using parity-based loss recovery and dynamic time division duplex (TDD)-based group ACK mechanism. This method uses erasure code to reduce the impact of independent packet loss for different receivers and group ACK scheme to reduce signaling traffic. This proposed method is suitable to transmit multicast data in TDD-based wireless LANs because of its simplicity and scalability
