Abstract :
A photonic resonance tuning method utilizing mode coupling among three photonic crystal (PhC) based nanocavities is proposed. A wide spectral tuning range of 24.4 nm was experimentally demonstrated using on-chip integrated electrostatic submicron comb-drives with low actuation voltage and power consumption.
