Abstract :
In the paper, a four-leg PWM voltage converter VSI is connected directly to the AC network. Its AC currents are controlled with a generalised space vector current controller. The mains currents are sensed so that the system injects positive first harmonic currents in quadrature with the positive first harmonic mains voltages to compensate the fundamental reactive power. Also, negative and zero sequence first harmonic currents can be injected and so mains first harmonic unbalances can be compensated. The system modelling and simulation is presented in the paper
