Abstract :
A BiCMOS opamp with a reconfigurable input stage has been presented. This input stage enables the extraction of temperature-dependent offset components from room-temperature measurements. A 3x reduction in offset drift is achieved after trimming based on this extraction, without the additional costs associated with two-temperature trimming. The resulting drift of 0.33muV/degC (3sigma) is a more than 4x improvement over the prior art.
