  • Abstract
    Motion vector field of video motion image sequences has the characteristic of center-biased and space-time correlation. Aiming to the limitations of the existing fast block-matching motion estimation algorithms, this paper proposes a motion estimation algorithm which adaptively chooses different algorithm templates according to movement complexity and module precision. The experimental results show that the new algorithm can significantly improve the search speed of motion estimation, and saves a lot of time of motion estimation, under the premise of ensuring the quality of the reconstructed image.
