  • Abstract
The wind park that aggregates hundreds of wind-turbine driven squirrel cage induction generators brings voltage stability problem to the grid. This paper analyzes the wind park model and discusses different kind of transmission lines and their effects to the voltage instability of remote wind park. The relationship of the sizes of wind-parks with the surge impedance loading (SIL) of the transmission line is also discussed.
