Abstract
Due to the importance of freight transport in the panel of the logistics cost, our research is conducted to optimize transportation on cost criterion. Its aim is to find a solution on the minimum transportation cost for the four index transportation problem (4ITP). This linear programming problem may be degenerated and it may not verify the solution existence condition (SEC). We develop a resolution method based on the coupling of a mathematical model, an algorithm and a database. This will be implemented in the production management system used by industrial enterprise AAS, which is a first rank subcontractor for Airbus.
