Abstract :
A method for estimating the geometrical parameters of a cone beam tomography system is presented. For that purpose the centroids of the projection of two small spheres are related to the cone beam geometry by nonlinear expressions. The DUD estimation technique was used to estimate the searched parameters by means of the SAS statistical software package. The program is given. In several simulation runs it was proven that the algorithm converges if a fair first estimation is used.<>
