Abstract
This work presents an ontology based method for cross-organizational business process integration. The proposed method adopts ontology as the carriers of business processes. After translation from constructed business process models by business analysts into business process ontologies represented by OWL-S, ontology mapping and integration techniques are adopted to bridge the semantic gaps among organizations, and to integrate related processes into an organic process by eliminating redundancies and recomposing the processes after elimination.
