Abstract :
This is paper presents a ray tracing simulation technique for characterize the radiowave propagation inside building. The effective dielectric constants of the building structure in the simulations are indicated. The results confirm that the received power can be determined from Directional of Arrival (DOA) based on ray tracing method for Line of Sight (LOS) and NonLine of Sight (NLOS) applications. Work reported in this paper has shown that the received power coverage in inside buildings can vary considerably according to the furniture and polarizations.
