Abstract :
The difficulty of their application and environmental danger was also revealed. Application of bistatic radar with the use of an active lightship, set beyond the bounds of the horizon, was proposed. Conclusions that confirm the application expediency of the proposed bistatic radar for an environmentally safe, beyond the horizon detection of above-water objects and territorial waters surveillance were made.
