Abstract :
This paper describes the implementation and verification of a high performance low-cost automated phase noise measurement technique. Development of a `state-of-the-art´ low phase noise version of a new signal source instrument for RF and Microwave calibration applications required a measurement solution easily and cost effectively integrated into existing factory and service center calibration systems.
