            Abstract : 
TMEIC has developed a large-capacity Power Conditioning System (PCS) for wind turbine generators. It has high energy density and reliability and is very compact. The PCS employs large-capacity IGBTs cooled by indirect water cooling and is snubber-less. In a run-back test, the PCS was inspected in real usage conditions, in terms of voltage, current (including harmonics), and power. The dynamic control characteristics were tested in a mini-model test with a small PCS and small motor generator set.
