Abstract :
The eco-environment pressure changes of urban green space system in Jiaozuo city, Henan province, China, during the years of 2000 and 2007, are analyzed. Taking the statistical data of economy, society, and population as environment pressure factors, by using landscape ecology theory combing with SPOT image and geographical information system (GIS), the response of urban green space system to the environment pressure is discussed. The result shows that the total green space area and the coverage rate increased largely from years of 2000 to 2007, while the eco-environment pressure on urban green space system also increased year after year. The ecological environment pressure index increased from 0.470 in year of 2000 to 0.603 in 2007, as the result of the degradation of the whole green space pattern. The index of landscape diversity decreased from 1.77 to 1.37, evenness index decreased from 0.88 to 0.52, green corridor density and dimension index decreased from 0.64 and 1.32 to 0.43 and 1.18, while predominance index and fragmentation index were increased from 0.45 and 0.033 to 0.67 and 0.074. The whole green space system of Jiaozuo is in an unstable, unreasonable and unhealthy condition under the environment pressure.
