Abstract :
Gives an overview of the trends in videomatic services and systems resulting from the advent of ISDN (integrated services digital network) and the promise of broadband ISDN. Service aspects are discussed and the LVX (local video exchange) system, an integrated video-voice-data local area network, is described from implementation and technical standpoints
