Abstract :
Discusses some of the options available to meet the CCITT I.430 Recommendations, which define the operating conditions at the S interface. They focus on the results obtained with one particular voltage driver. A strategy is described for evaluating the combined performance of the transmitter and pulse transformer, since the design cannot be considered complete until the parameter variations of both units have been taken into account. The effects of correctly and incorrectly matching the transformer to the transmitter are shown
