Abstract
This paper introduces a study on the biometrics from its accuracy problems point of view. The concerns about the errors and their sources in security, forensic and court applications that face researchers in their study for general successful biometric systems are discussed. Three new biometric features are introduced, namely the ECG signal and the X-ray image for human recognition while presenting for the first time a completely new feature for study. It is the lunula of a human finger nail -- the whitish area in the lowest part of the finger nail -- to be another potential new biometric feature for further investigation.
