Abstract :
There are many shortcomings in the wireless network, such as low bandwidth, long latency, and high probability of error. It is very important to solve these problems so as to improve the performance of wireless network. Based on the protocols of MAC in the IEEE 802.11, a new scheme of retransmission is presented in which only the improper part of a packet is retransmitted and it is better than the fragment function provided by 802.11. This new scheme is proved in the simulation environment made by NS2.
