Abstract
A hybrid system combining fuzzy logic and expert systems was developed to evaluate the impact of price and non-price factors on transportation modal split. The hybrid system provides an alternative to conventional modeling techniques. It is capable of considering multiple price changes for more than two modes of transportation, and conduct assessment with limited data availability
