Abstract :
The introduction of high-resolution CMOS image sensors (S. Yoshihara et al., 2006) has encouraged the development of various applications to handle high frame rates, high resolution, and multiple images processed by software. Complicated image processing algorithms used in DSCs and camcorders, which make use of adaptive image processing to deal with the characteristics of scenes and objects, require extensive computational power, as well as low power consumption and increased flexibility. FIESTA is developed to adapt to these markets.
