The Bell Atlantic/Siemens ISDN (integrated services digital network) trial architecture is described. Detailed consideration is then given to the two main trial objectives: (1) to test the ISDN switch and CPE (customer premise equipment) implementation and (2) to develop ISDN configurations and applications
