Abstract :
A flexible electromagnetic wave absorber (dual phase rubber sheet=DPR) can contain a large volume (up to 60 vol%) of the electromagnetic stainless steel flaky powders in chlorinated polyethylene rubber, and as a result it shows high permeability (μ\´>10 μ">5 at 1 GHz). To study its applicability to noise filtering, the authors measured the impedance Z of DPR in comparison with a commercial sintered soft magnetic ferrite. Consequently the DPR achieves higher impedance Z than the sintered ferrite at any frequency in the 250 to 1000 MHz range
