Abstract :
This paper describes novel feedback reset circuits for a contact image sensor (CIS) system using phototransistors as sensing elements. Simulated results of the proposed circuits indicate that the dynamic range defined by the difference of the bright output saturation level and dark level can be improved, which in turn enhances the sensed image quality
