Abstract :
The Bell Communications Research operations systems strategic plan (OSSP) and its five major processes are reviewed. ESP (enhanced service provider) technical requirements for access to BOC (Bell operating company) network operations and management systems are presented and related to the major processes of the OSSP. Nontechnical requirements for interface uniformity across BOCs and cost-based pricing are discussed
