Abstract :
Electronic government (e-government) is the provision of government information and services through Internet to citizens and businesses and among government agencies. Though this electronic manifestation of government offers new approaches of access to government information and services and clearly has the potential to become an institution that promotes citizens actively to participate, it also presents new and serious potential impediments to democratic process, such as illegal e-participation, irrational e-participation and unbalanced developing e-participation. After diagnosing the matters of the process of e-participation, this article detailed illustrates the role of the government in the process of resolving these problems.
