Abstract :
We have used the term “virtual enterprise” in articulating the 21st century global manufacturing enterprise strategy. One of the key requirements is to design an information system (IS) architecture to control the interoperability of the participated organization´s distributed, heterogeneous and concurrent systems. This article presents design of an inter-organizational information system (IOIS) which contains a macro-PDMS model for supporting inter-organizational systems (IOS) such as a virtual enterprise. We have focused on the reactivity problem and we propose also a macro-process model for this kind of organizations
