Abstract :
Vibration mitigation has become increasingly vital for the current highway bridge system. Since the main source of bridge vibrations comes from heavy trucks passing by, we propose a control system that can be installed on the trucks to help reduce bridges´ vibration. The approach is based on the nonlinear black-box model of the truck-bridge interaction.
