Abstract
A novel CMOS programmable temperature switch with uncalibrated high temperature accuracy is presented. Threshold temperature Tth can be programmed by adjusting the ratio of width and length of the transistors which determine Tth. A floating gate neural MOS circuit is introduced and improves the precision of Tth greatly. The circuit is implemented in a standard 0.35 mum CMOS process. 16 different TthS can be set with a 3sigma inaccuracy of 1.5degC. The chip area is only 0.04 mm2. Power consumption is only 15 muA at 3.3V power supply
