Abstract :
Social networking site (SNS) has become pervasive in the life of the majority of the younger generations. Most of our students spend plenty of their time in interacting with their peers in their favorite SNSs. Many of them have already created their habit of visiting Facebook (currently, the most popular SNS) on a regular basis, some even with their Facebook connection always on. Taking the advantage of such SNS popularity, this study aims at investigating how learning activities can be taken place in SNSs in general, with Facebook in particular. Among all influential factors, this study focuses on investigating how habit and perceived boundary impact on the Facebook-based learning effectiveness. Research framework and research design are built for the subsequent empirical study.
