Abstract
We review some of the methods proposed for the evaluation of the handover-related system performance, before examining distributed call admission control (DCAC). DCAC, which was proposed by Naghshineh and Schwarz (1995), and later enhanced by Baldo and Aghvami (see ICC´99, Vancouver, Canada), is presented in this paper and evaluated against other existing handover-related admission control schemes using multimedia traffic
