Abstract
Tourism supply chain management (TSCM) has emerged as an important area in tourism research, and is attracting increasing attention from both the academic and practitioner communities. However, researches that applied supply chain management to tourism were very limited. As for tourism, the synthesis of traveling products decides that single tourism enterprise cannot provide complete traveling products, which also determines the formation and existence of tourism supply chain (TSC). Once the TSC forms, we shall consider the combination and coordination between enterprises. Therefore, it seems to be very necessary to study the coordination mechanism of TSC systematically and deeply. This paper explains the conception of TSC at first, puts forward an integrated model on this basis, and then mainly discusses the coordination mechanism for its weak links. With the aiding of game theory and classical newsboy model, it analyzes and studies the coordination between travel agency and tourist as well as the coordination between tour operator and transportation system in depth, and then puts forward particular measures and instructions.
