Abstract
In an intelligent space, many agents with sensory intelligence are distributed. The agents switch their role dynamically and support man by cooperating with each other. At this time, it is important for each agent to use efficiently the information obtained from the distributed sensors. Each agent integrates their own sensory information with the sensory information which other agents obtain. An “attention” is used as a means to integrate the distributed sensory information. This paper shows a “soft DNA” which can switch an agent´s role autonomously, and it proposes a method of augmenting sensing based on the soft DNA. Using the attention, the method augments each agent´s sensing by recomposing the whole space from distributed sensory information. In addition, this paper shows a method of displaying the augmented information and the support information to man
