Abstract :
In this paper, some topics on the speed sensorless vector control of induction motors are studied, such as stator current control, state estimation, parameters identification, etc. For the features of the system, the following strategies are proposed: 1) a discrete stator current controller; 2) a modified rotor flux observer; 3) a speed identifier based on MRAC; 4) motor parameters identification based on the recurrent least square method with weighting factors; and 5) a vector controller with feedforward decouplings. Consequently, the design means of a speed sensorless AC motor drive system for induction motors is provided. In addition, an experimental system is developed and its performance tested. The results of these simulations and experiments show the validity of this control method
