Abstract :
The authors address the problem of robust control of linear discrete-time systems in the presence of internal and input channel uncertainties and external disturbances. Using the VSS (variable structure system) approach, they propose a controller which locally guarantees the uniform stability of the system, although in some special cases the stability can be global and asymptotic. Simulation results show the relative insensitivity of the system to time-variable uncertainties
