Abstract
An adaptive autopilot design for the extended medium range air-to-air technology (EMRAAT) missile is described. Linear time-invariant missile models with uncertain flex are used. A controller scheduled on the fin position pitching moment coefficient (M δq ) is designed for the entire flight envelope. It is assumed that the flight condition is initially unknown, and air data sensors are omitted. Robust identification laws are used to estimate several parameters, including M δq, which is then used to assign the controller. Simulation results are given
