Abstract :
In the preceding papers of analyzing the factors of effecting region economic development, the researchers mostly select some factors by subjective experience, then analyze positively the effect of the selected factors to economic development by econometric model. This paper applicant the theories of the rough set and entropy to analyze the data without subjective experience, so can get the conclusion comprehensively and objectively. To take Szechwan province as an example, the analytic result shows that the main factors of effecting region economic development is: third industry, city ward level, freight transportation, second industry.
