Abstract
Wall shear stress patterns in a realistic model of a human right coronary artery (RCA) were numerically studied for two different flow waveforms. For both waveforms, the distribution of mean wall shear stress was very similar while the oscillatory shear index was slightly different but everywhere less than 0.1. These results suggest that patient-specific geometric factors dominate hemodynamic effects for waveforms typical of the RCA
