Abstract
HRV (heart rate variability) has been studied for many years, but HRV is not related to blood conduction. The aim of the project is to study the variability of blood conduction, mainly through two aspects: IVAP (interval variability of arterial pulse) and VIRP (variability of interval between R-wave and arterial pulse). In our study, we recorded ECG and radial arterial pulse simultaneously. Then PSD (power spectral density) of HRV, IVAP, VIRP were calculated, and an ARX model was estimated between HRV and IVAP. Results show that obvious variability exists in blood conduction
