Abstract
Two kinds of piezoelectric PZT, cylindrical tube and disk, and PVDF transducers are utilized to detect the photoacoustic signals of chemical solutions. The vibration modes of the PZT tube and the acoustic pressure distributions along the axis of the tube, which are important for photoacoustic calorimetry, are analyzed in detail. The acoustic properties of PZT disk and PVDF film transducers are also described
