  • Abstract
Due to complication of electric power technology, electricity transaction is in face of both market rule problems and technical problems. Equity argument often takes place when market rules conflict with technical constraints. Analysis reveals that unfair results are inevitable in some situations, but other situations may be handled more equitably by elaborately designing the market trading rules and procedure. One of the latter situations is discussed in detail, that is the generation competition problem of the identical or similar units. In a competitive environment, the problem becomes more complicated, concern of equal treatment draws more attention than the algorithm convergence issue. Previous researches haven´t given a good answer to this. Based on probability theory, a transaction model considering equity and a corresponding solving method are presented in the paper. The method determines generation opportunity by a dynamic priority order, ensures equally competition among the identical or similar units. The validity of the method is proved by numerical simulations.
