  • Abstract
    The autonomic response to graded orthostatic head-up tilt was investigated in normal subjects. Autonomic tone was assessed in the early phase of tilt through the analysis of time-frequency distribution of RR intervals obtained by Pseudo Smoothed Wigner-Ville transform. The results put into evidence different dynamics in the sympathetic activation induced by tilt, which depends on the level of sympathetic stimulation
