Abstract :
Typical cardiac electrophysiology laboratory stimulators are adequate for periodic pacing protocols, but are ill-suited for complex adaptive pacing. Recently, there has been considerable interest in innovative arrhythmia control techniques, such as chaos control, that utilize adaptive feedback pacing. Experimental investigation of such techniques requires a system capable of real-time pacing adaptation. To this end, we have used the Real-Time Linux (RT-Linux) operating system to develop a system capable of real-time complex adaptive pacing
